Our Tournaments

For our more competitive players, our afternoon tournaments are officially sanctioned by the French Bridge Federation (FFB). This enables you to earn Expert Points and improve your national ranking.

Our Monday and Wednesday tournaments, are   ‘Rondes de France,’ national competitions where you can measure your results against several hundred pairs from all over France who will also be participating. It’s an excellent opportunity to assess your performance against players from different parts of the country.

Every Friday, we host a handicapped club competition designed specifically for newer players or those with limited experience in competitions. The results are adjusted to give these players an advantage.

After each tournament you will receive an e-mail at around 9pm with your results,  a list of all the deals and, for the Rondes de France, a booklet commenting on  the main and more difficult deals.

A summery of all the hands played (along with their analysis) will be posted here following each tournament.

On Tuesday evenings we host a rubber bridge session. The deals are commented, without ranking, simply for the pleasure of playing the right contract and putting the right card on the table at the right time. You can come without a partner, as the teams rotate. If you park in the Carrefour car park after 7pm, there’s a lift that takes you directly to the Maison des Assos. At the night rate, it will cost you between €1.40/€1.90. The same rate applies to the Parking de la Colle.

Huit et Demie Restaurant

The Huit et Demie is a well known restaurant on rue Princesse Caroline. It can be readily accessed by bus or train. It  is only 5 minutes walk from Place d’Armes where the 600 bus stops. Local buses 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6 also have  stops in close proximity.

There is ample parking both in the Parking de Marche and Square Gastaud.
